We had a great escape with our family and dogs at Avallon Lodges. Ross, the host, was incredibly helpful and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The lodge exceeded our expectations with its well-presented and clean interior. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it had all the necessary cooking utensils and even board games and movies for entertainment on rainy days. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot tub, which provided the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. The location of the lodge, although remote, allowed us to easily drive to all the attractions in the area. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again. Thank you for a wonderful experience at Avallon Lodges.
There were some minor drawbacks, such as cobwebs in the dish rack and a lack of toilet roll after the first day. Having a privacy fence or some shelter around the hot tub would have made it even more enjoyable, especially at night.

During our recent stay, I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful location of the lodge. It was tucked away in a peaceful spot, allowing us to truly unwind and relax. The surrounding countryside and the small lake added to the tranquility of the setting, and we enjoyed leisurely walks around the area, taking in the vibrant autumn colors.
Although the lodge was in a quiet location, there were still plenty of attractions within a short drive. We visited Bude, Newquay, and even Plymouth University to see our niece.

I recently had the most amazing stay at a beautiful lodge surrounded by breathtaking nature. It was a true escape from the chaos of city life. The peace and quiet was exactly what I needed. Plus, I had the pleasure of being greeted by the friendliest border collie named WIN, who just wanted cuddles. The location was perfect, not too far from the coast, allowing me to enjoy the best of both worlds. The lodge itself was cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. And despite the occasional WiFi dropouts, it was still better than my own internet service! I had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway.
