We had a great escape with our family and dogs at Avallon Lodges. Ross, the host, was incredibly helpful and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The lodge exceeded our expectations with its well-presented and clean interior. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it had all the necessary cooking utensils and even board games and movies for entertainment on rainy days. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot tub, which provided the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. The location of the lodge, although remote, allowed us to easily drive to all the attractions in the area. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again. There were some minor drawbacks, such as cobwebs in the dish rack and a lack of toilet roll after the first day. Having a privacy fence or some shelter around the hot tub would have made it even more enjoyable, especially at night.
